Front of House Administrator

New opportunity for experienced Administrator in locally based business

Your new company
Our client is a locally based small business that offers a range of financial services to both companies and individuals. They are currently seeking an Administration Assistant on a Full Time basis to join their team. This role would be suitable for either a Administrator who is confident in learning new systems or someone who has worked in a similar business.

Your new role
Your new role as Administrator will be responsible for and includes duties not limited to:
  • Answering calls and assisting with enquiries where possible
  • Collection and distribution of mail
  • Calendar management
  • Track client tax returns and documentation with ATO and ASIC
  • Process client transactions in Xero and MYOB
  • Preparation of simple BAS and IAS
  • Office administration; filing, archiving, scanning faxing
  • Liaise with contractors and manage software updates
  • Keeping the office and kitchen tidy and well presented

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to following experience and skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Intermediate skills using MS Word and Excel
  • Experience using XERO and MYOB is advantageous
  • Proactive attitude
