Your new role
As the Accountant you are a senior member of the Corporate Services Team. This is a very dynamic role, where you will assume responsibility for both the day-to-day accounting and administration functions. In addition to this you will play a significant role in the management of financial and operational risks. You will strive to achieve operational efficiencies while ensuring that the business complies with its regulatory obligations. Reporting into the finance manager and working in a small team your broad responsibilities will be:

• Ownership of the daily accounting function
• Financial reporting – profit and loss and balance sheet
• Investment accounting
• Provide support and knowledge to the team – more specifically in the finance and administration areas
• Open, regular and timely communication with Management
• Board and Management reporting as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Open to qualified CPA/CA Accountant or part qualified Accountant
• 3 + years relevant accounting experience
• Also open to degree qualified candidate that they can develop in this role
• Key is to fit the culture – friendly, hard working, open, collaborative and energetic
• If you have some financial accounting experience that will be an advantage
• Good problem solving skills
