Event Marketing Coordinator

Looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator - Multinational investment

Your new company
Multinational investment bank, the global company provides financial services in over 50 countries.

Your new role
You will be working in the Event Marketing and Corporate Access team in Sydney. Team of event planners who partner with Research, Global Markets and Advisory & Capital Markets, as well as regional marketing strategists, to deliver the event needs of the company and its clients.

These events include, transaction related (deal) roadshows, investor relations (non-deal) roadshows, bespoke events, field trips, investor conferences and client entertainment.

Your experience
  • Act as partner and consultant to internal clients on event format, content and timing
  • Establish project budgets, monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, exercise cost control, review & process invoices and produce final cost report
  • Ensure local compliance processes and procedures are followed to minimize operational risk
  • Develop marketing materials in line with the company branding, and manage client registration process and experience
  • Project manage logistics for both in-person and virtual meetings and events including venue, audio visual, production, catering, accommodation, transport and speakers
  • Communicate with both internal and external clients as well as external speakers
  • Conduct post-event evaluation, issuing questionnaires and collating post event report, including attendance metrics and financials

What you'll need to succeed
  • 2-3+ years of event marketing or financial industry experience
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and also have great attention to detail attention
  • Be able to work under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment
