Your New Company:
This Victorian owned company with 50+ years’ experience has been dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and supplying leading edge visual communications equipment. The company is seeking an Estimator / Tender Administrator to support the Tender & Production team through processes. Also provide support to the office and installers.

Your New Role:
In this Estimator / Tender Administrator role, your daily duties will include but are not limited to:
• Prepare tender submissions for costing
• Investigate and review all addendum and documentation received
• Liaise externally with Customers, Architects, Builders and Suppliers via phone, email and onsite on any queries or issues
• Liaise with clients on project requirements
• Prepare for & attend tender interviews
• Updating of databases including tender win/loss worksheet to identify and report on tender status and outcomes/decisions on a weekly basis
• Manage inventory orders for large projects
• Attend project sites as required to resolve any construction issues or disputes in relation to the contracted works
• Solve technical issues and find solutions for project requirements
• Proficiency with Online applications such as Aconex, Estimate, Cordell, Procore, Bidcontender etc

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Previous experience in a Estimator or Tender administration role
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Organisation and time-management skills
  • A friendly and dynamic personality
  • High levels of computer literacy
  • The willingness to learn
  • A positive attitude and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
