Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Environment, you’ll provide leadership and technical advice to a broad range of stakeholders across multiple sites in your Region. You’ll:

• Drive environmental objectives across the Region supporting Business Leaders to enable agreed environmental outcomes
• Provide recommendations and updates to regional/site environmental systems to comply with the new environmental duties and relevant changes in environment protection legislation
• Effectively manage relationships with the regulator and negotiate reasonable outcomes to facilitate compliance
• Coordinate environmental compliance audits across the Region
• Facilitate the reporting, investigation and management of environmental incidents and complaints in accordance with relevant procedures

What you'll need to succeed
As well as having tertiary qualifications in HSE management or a related field, such as Engineering, Science, or Business, you’ll have:

• Experience in HSE/specialising in Environmental Management with knowledge of HSE regulations, systems and processes
• HSE Systems Auditing Qualification (desirable)
• Strong generalist environmental knowledge and multi-site experience
