Your new company
You will join a Federal Government agency who are driving a more connected healthcare system for all Australians. Joining on an initial 12 month contract you will have the opportunity to work within a high performing team and support the Director in championing research for the Agency.

Your new role
In your new position you will:

• Build a robust evidence base for health initiative to support funding, influence policy and encourage adoption of health services
• Manage the design, development and delivery of methodologies that convey accurate and true representations of user needs
• Deliver strategic advice and reports to inform research, continuous quality improvement, planning and decision making
• Manage successful delivery of research projects, providing management with regular updates on key projects, issues and priorities
• Actively promote best practice research approaches and ensure research techniques are correct and relevant to the health sector
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to other agency staff

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in research design informed through policy reform
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to a range of audiences
• Experience supporting complex and cross-functional programs of work
• Effective team management experience including ability to provide technical oversight
• You must be an Australian citizen for this position.
