Your new company
Our client is a well-established business in Melbourne’s west who operate a fleet of specialist machinery used in concrete pumping, construction, tunnelling, and underground mining. They are looking for their next member of the team to join and work closely alongside colleagues to refurbish, maintain, and repair machinery.

Your new role

• Perform specialised welding tasks to manufacture, modify or repair concrete placing booms
• Apply general fabricating work
• Abide to all OHS requirements and apply a keen eye for detail
• Working alone and with colleagues to assist in fitting newly imported concrete pump bodies
• Basic mechanical works including repairs maintenance and servicing

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have a career driven and positive attitude, as well as the following.

• Trade Qualified Level 3 Certification in your specific Diesel Automotive Field (Heavy preferred)
• Qualified and ticketed welder with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Experience working in a similar role
• Tickets in all areas of your specialism are beneficial
• Show the ability to work independently
• Have a strong outcome focus on both safety as well as quality
