Our client is a well-established and leading provider of high-quality commercial vehicles, engines and power solutions across Australia, New Zealand and The Pacific. With an increase in workload, they are currently seeking multiple skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their fast-paced workshop in Portsmith.

Your new role
A day in the role will be diverse and rewarding, performing service, repairs and maintenance on a predominantly trucks across a wide range of brands including, MTU, Detroit, Allison Transmission, Western Star Trucks, Dennis Eagle and MAN Truck & Bus. With distribution across civil, mining, energy, defence, marine, rail, construction, industrial, agriculture and oil & gas industries you will be an integral part ensuring quality solutions and service to all clients. Located in Portsmith, this Monday to Friday, permanent role is great if you are seeking the perfect work life balance. Overtime optional.

What you'll need to succeed
You have strong experience and background as a qualified Diesel Mechanic and are dedicated to WH&S. You are self-sufficient, reactive, adaptable and have good computer skills. You work well under pressure and excel in team environments. To be successful for this position you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Strong experience working with heavy vehicles and trucks
• High-quality Workmanship
• Driver’s Licence
• Own basic trade specific tools
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
