In your new role, you’ll become a key player in the sales and operations plan for the business, ensuring alignment between the commercial and supply chain functions of the business via:
What you'll need to succeed
Management of demand forecasting and liaison with product supply teams, striving for increased forecast accuracy through statistical analysis and scrutiny of historical sales trends.
Inventory control across the national distribution network, with a focus on accuracy and safety stock in line with the overall financial goals of the business.
Collaboration with key stakeholders in the wider S&OP function with the ultimate goal of creating a coherent supply chain and delivering an optimised customer experience.
Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management and S&OP processes.
Strong analytical & forecasting skills with a data-driven approach and emphasis on accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track-record of building successful relationships across multiple business units including sales, finance, and operations.
Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain or a related discipline.
