Your new role

  • As a Data Product Owner, you will be solving problems at scale and support development and adoption of data products across business teams.
  • You will be building a team from the ground up, establishing operating practices and driving cultural change.
  • You will be comfortable operating at the strategic level and diving deep into details as needed to ensure high quality execution.
  • You will take ownership and be able to influence technology and business stakeholders to ensure each data product delivers intended business value.
  • You will need to be able to collaborate with a diverse set of geographically diverse teams to achieve success in this role.
  • You will chart the course for the data product competency and in parallel enhance existing data products and identify new data product opportunities.
  • You must be able to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business drivers and considerations.
  • End-to-end product delivery responsibility
  • Design, prototype, develop and test new product features and initiatives
  • Define product roadmaps
  • Track and report on success metrics
  • Work with relevant members of scrum teams to ensure delivery
  • Provide thought leadership in the Product Ownership domain.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3+ years - Significant experience as a Product Owner
  • Blend of business and technical savvy; able to articulate a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
  • Delivery focussed with a strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working in a fast- paced role, in an agile environment and across a range of technologies
  • Data nerd – understand all the current trends and changes in the technology sphere, with an understanding of everything from traditional RDBMS through to Cloud Data Platform capabilities
  • Experience in machine learning and business intelligence would be advantageous
  • Experience in delivering finance, credit, regulatory projects, or FinTech’s would be advantageous
