Customer Service Supervisor

PERMANENT FULL TIME ROLE | $85,000 + Super | Matraville Location

Located in Matraville, an exciting opportunity presents for a talented Customer Service Representative. Established in 1957 and proudly Australian owned, this company is a leading wholesale distributor of non-food restaurant and hotel supplies. The extensive product range comprises leading brands and expands across cutlery, crockery, glassware, barware, kitchenware, table service, equipment, disposables and janitorial supplies.

Your new role
    • Responsible for leading a six-person team
    • Manage the distribution of workload amongst all team members
    • Oversite of all web, email, phone orders and card payments
    • Liaising with purchasing, goods inwards and dispatch as required
    • Provide a high level of sales support to the Account Management team
    • Provide service excellence in all facets of the position
    • Seek to streamline and enhance internal procedures where appropriate
    • Preparation of customer quotes as needed
    • Process contract pricing and order forms for customers as per sales team instructions
    • Effective diligence ensuring all returns / credits / open orders and backorders are timely actioned by team members

What you'll need to succeed
  • Prior experience in a similar office-based supervisory position
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate, inspire and train others
  • Leads by example and happy to dive into detail
  • Computer adept and familiar with Excel
  • Professional telephone manner and able to handle customer queries
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn
