Customer Service Officer

West Gippsland/Latrobe Valley | Ongoing Training and Support | No Weekends!

Due to the continually busy environment, this organisation is seeking a experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis in the West Gippsland/Latrobe Valley region.

Your new role
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and use of computer systems
  • Liaising directly with customers face to face, completing cash handling, electronically processing payments, end of day banking duties, completing administrative transactions
  • Willingness to work the hours of 8.30-4.30 and be available to work 5 days a week (hours may vary).
  • Always deliver strong customer service skills to customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer enquiries according to established policies and procedures, work instructions and guidelines, in a timely manner. effectively resolve customer complaints and escalate to supervisor where required.
  • Ability to travel to other offices where required in our cluster dependant on location as required
  • Work collaboratively as an effective team member to achieve key team and individual performance targets, supporting and participating in team activities and assisting to meet team objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Exceptional customer service skills, a positive can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic
  • Adaptability, flexibility and agility with regards to change and adopting new methods of working
  • A team player who is not afraid to go above and beyond where required
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills
  • Full drivers’ licence required
