Your new role
- Key contributor to our unplanned outage management program of work to improve the way we manage and communicate unplanned outage information to customers.
- Analyse and model data and processes to generate insights (issues/opportunities) and recommend business process improvement opportunities to deliver against project objectives
- Articulate overarching business objectives, process, and business requirements (functional and non-functional) for projects(s) within a functional area / business unit
- Contribute to identification of project business benefits by measuring process improvements (e.g., timing) or other cost/benefit analysis
- Support the various piloting efforts performed throughout the project (e.g., process pilots, technical testing)
- Contribute to development of business policy and procedures and/or training material to ensure successful implementation of program or business change
- Preparing and presenting written reports (e.g., business requirements specifications, project communications and updates)
- Identify and build strong relationships with key customers / stakeholders across different locations, levels (management & end users) and business functions to solicit requirements
- Working within a team to deliver project outcomes
- Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, consulting, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Analysing business user issues and critical complaints and facilitating key stakeholder agreement
- Business process validation & documentation related to our Unplanned Outage program of work.
- Coordination between SMEs with limited availability and the delivery team.
- Defining acceptance criteria and documenting in jira.
- Facilitation and coordination of team members to complete User Acceptance Testing across the project and business user teams and review to ensure alignment of delivery with acceptance criteria.
- Participation in program ceremonies (e.g., Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Stand Ups, Sprint Playbacks and Showcases
What you'll need to succeed
- A customer-centric attitude and the unreserved desire to encourage customer dedication.
- Experience supporting customer facing operational teams and processes are desirable.
- Salesforce (including Marketing Cloud) experience desirable
- Experience analysing existing problems, problem solving and presenting options to management for informed decision making.
- Experience in similar role in Consulting or Energy Sector
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and lead initiatives to successfully deliver business outcomes
- High level of consulting, influencing interpersonal and communication skills and driven to achieve results
- Strong analytical lateral thinker and to be able to think outside the square
- Ability to take ownership of tasks as allocated, to see them to delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills
- Demonstrated commercial and business focus
- Proven ability to proactively identify, resolve and (where appropriate) escalate issues
- Continuous improvement / lean six sigma experience
- Agile delivery experience
- Human Centred Design / Service Design experience desirable
