Your new role You will bring specialist knowledge and experience in this critical role, to assist in managing governance, risk and control requirements for the business. Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct training for credit representatives operating under’s Australian credit licence through a variety of presentation formats and assist with the design and delivery of compliance training.
  • Assist the National Manager of Risk & Compliance respond to requests from regulators and lenders including investigating potential broker misconduct.
  • Work with and advise internal stakeholders and brokers who aggregate through, on all compliance related matters for legislative and regulatory requirements relating to consumer credit with particular focus on the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act 2009.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Relevant tertiary or related professional qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in the banking industry would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of APRA Prudential Framework and ASIC requirements around financial reporting
  • Knowledge of other banking / financial services related legislation (eg: AML/CTF, Privacy, ePayments Code, COBCOP, Privacy
  • Act, FSR and CRS/FATCA) would be highly regarded.
