This Australian owned company is well-known for their success and profitable completion of projects. Due to growth within the company, they now require an experienced Compactor Operator to join their close-knit team in an ongoing capacity.
Your new role
You will have the responsibility of working independently. You will be reporting to the site manager/supervisor and working in an efficient and safe manner to reach project goals. You will be also required to perform general labouring duties to assist the team when the need arises. Duties would include but not limited to;
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in the civil industry preferably with bulk earthworks
- Proven experience operating a Compactor/Roller
- Daily OHS and machine maintenance reports experience.
Your previous experience working in a fast pace environment will be advantageous in this role. Experience working on civil construction sites, will ensure you can work with limited supervision whilst adhering to all the site safety protocols. You will be part of a broader team, so strong communication skills coupled with good time management will allow you to succeed. You must have a construction white card, and your own car and license would be advantageous. You will also need to have a valid RII Roller/Compactor.
