CTA job - brand new role - Not For Profit organisation. Oncology studies. Three year contract.

Your new company
An established and thriving oncology based research group are seeking a CTA to join the team on a full-time basis. This role is a three year appointment. This brand new role has come about due to continued growth within the groups study portfolio and will join an established team of research professionals. This group partners closely with trial centres in the delivery of trials as the study sponsor and also runs a number of investigator initiated trials. This group are extremely passionate about their area of research focus, driven to find a cure for hard to treat cancer and will provide opportunities for long term development/growth.

Your new role
As a CTA, you will provide broader administrative support to the department across up coming and ongoing clinical trials. Aspects of this role will include; study start up and maintenance, site responsibilities, quality assurance, act as a central contact point with sites/sponsors, general administrative support and the implementation and maintenance of a new Clinical Trial Management System. The CTA will work across a diverse range of studies and have broad responsibilities as assigned by the project managers and their supportive line manager.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a tertiary qualification in a health or life sciences discipline. You will have worked in clinical trial management or delivery in the past in ARO, CRO or pharma as a CTA or Trial Coordinator. You will have a solid understanding of GCP and trial conduct. You will be structured in your approach to work, be a real team player and be motivated to play a supportive function. You will have excellent communication skills, thrive on working in clinical trials and be motivated to learn. Experience to Oncology trials is preferred but not essential.
