Clinical Project Manager - Blood Cancer Research

Clinical Project Manager required for national not-for-profit organisation

Your new company
My client is a well renowned charitable research organisation specialising in establishing investigator initiated clinical trials for cancer patients. They are currently seeking a FT Clinical Project Manager to strategically lead, develop and watch over day-to-day operations of the facilities registry. They are passionate in regard to treatment and cure of Cancer and would ideally be seeking out an individual who has the same values, aspirations and can show initiative and lead from the front.

Your new role
  • Development and leading project plans, managing progress and delivery of milestones as per timelines
  • Leading regular staff meetings to ensure deliverability of milestones
  • Providing support to various committees
  • Developing, tracking and forecasting budgets
  • Leading initiatives to achieve continuous improvement
  • Ensuring data integrity and quality, quality of trial processes and databases
  • Implementing CAPAs for data management issues
  • Developing and overseeing registry projects data management practises and driving problem solving with sites, sponsors, statisticians, and other team members
  • Establishing and maintaining member involvement, including liaising with international registry partners
  • Overseeing and managing a Registry Data Coordinator and a Data Manager


What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or more than 3 years' work experience in a health or science field
  • Clinical data and scientific data oversight experience including resource planning and financial management
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development and management of clinical data and scientific research
  • The ability to show initiative and to design, improve and implement processes that improve service delivery.
  • Team Management Experience
  • Familiarity with ANZ ethical, privacy and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent cross- functional stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills – ability to stick to time lines and manage this with other members of the team.
  • The ability to work autonomously but also as a collaborative member of the team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly competent with MS Office Suite – In particular Excel and the ability to write formulae and queries.
  • Genuine passion in improving cancer treatment
