Your new role
The Client Contact Officer role provides support to students in an online environment, promoting student engagement with their learning program in order to improve student outcomes through retention and completion strategies.

  • Improve student retention and completion by increasing student motivation, confidence and capability to study in an online environment.
  • Early identification of students at risk of non-progression and supporting them to engage with online study.
  • Reflect on NSW’s values in the way you work and abide by policies and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
  • Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Sound digital literacy skills and the ability to quickly locate, explore and understand content of online learning materials and the processes used in multiple disciplines and on multiple learning platforms.
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team combined with experience working in a high volume call centre environment with the ability to work under pressure and meet team deadlines.
  • Good planning, organisation and time management skills.
