Our client, a successful Civil Contractor operating in the Northern Territory, is recruiting a Civil Supervisor to work on various Civil projects in the Darwin and Katherine areas.

Your new role
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible to oversee the operations on site and ensure the work is delivered according to the company’s standards of quality and safety.
Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage the team and oversee all activity on site to maximise site production and execute the defined work within program and budget constraints.
• Ensure that the Tradesmen and Subcontractors follow the operations schedule and program and that their work meets quality requirements.
• Ensure that all OHS policies and procedures are adhered and monitor a safe work culture within the work teams.
• Proactively resolve on-site issues.
• Report to management regarding on-site activity and prepare regular scheduling reports.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role working on Civil projects (Bulk earthworks, Road Construction, Storm water drainage, Infrastructure projects).
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings.
• Experience with subcontract management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
