Engineering consultancy practice operating for over 25 years, specializing in structural and civil works design and documentation for building structures, industrial, commercial and residential developments and plant and production projects. Their work type varies from Factory / Warehouse Developments, Mixed Use, Service Stations Townhouses, Apartments, Day Care Centres, Aged Care Facilities.

Your new role

As the civil engineer, You will be tasked:

• Managing the full scope of the design requirements for the projects
• Liaise between stakeholders and clients to manage concerns and maintain positive relationships
• The role will grant you the opportunity to work in a multi-faceted, busy and challenging environment that will see you focus on a broad range of projects including high-rise residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial developments
• Understanding of Australian Standards and Council design standards
• Civil storm water design for residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Design of detention storage systems to authority specifications
• Modelling of Water Sensitive Urban Design treatments in small to large scale projects using Music or Melbourne Water’s Storm Reports

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum Bachelor of Civil Engineering is required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience
• Drainage design from start to finish including liaising with Local Authorities
• Competent CAD skills; Civil3D isn't essential but preferred
• Ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external people
• A track record of high achievement and passion for civil projects
• A can-do attitude and team-first approach which positively impact team members
• Desire to grow and develop your career both personally and professionally
