This local family owned and run business is now looking for carpenters to join their commercial team. As one of the largest restorers in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, they invest heavily in their employee’s and their workmanship shines through on finished projects. They currently have projects based throughout the Ipswich region and are looking for Carpenters to join their crew.

Your new role
You’ll be working as a carpenter in a large commercial team made up of other carpenters, labourers, and trades assistants. You will be working and restoring heritage listed commercial properties based in the Ipswich region and surrounds. Your main duties will include framing, assembly and maintenance. With multiple trades, sub-contractors and labours on site you may be required to help with other tasks as directed.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will have the following:

• Certificate III Carpentry or relevant experience
• Proven background in commercial carpentry
• A passion for intricate jobs that require accurate measurement and precision execution
• Knowledge of residential framing and assembly
• Your own basic hand tools and construction white card
