Call Centre Operator - PARRAMATTA

Recruiting for a NSW government department who require multiple Client Service Officers until September 2022.

Fantastic opportunity to join a Government department which will see you on the front line for all customer enquiries. This Parramatta-based department is looking for multiple client service officers to resolve a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.

Your new role
As a Customer Service Officer this role will require you to:

  • Provide a high-level quality of customer service daily as the first point of contact for general enquiries for this business unit
  • Resolve a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls in a courteous, accurate and efficient matter, handling complaints where necessary
  • Provide clear, correct and timely information whilst following up with emails and data entry to ensure all matters are resolved quickly, undertaking administrative work as required to support high quality service delivery

Please note this role is looking to commence on the 30th of May – 30th of September, 2022 with potential for extension. You will be required to provide the details of 2 recent referees and undergo a police check in order to commence in this role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you should:

  • Be based in close proximity to the Parramatta office and be able to commit to travelling to office for the duration of this assignment
  • Ideally have previous experience working within a contact centre or in a phone-based customer service role
  • An ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a confident multi-tasker and have a committed approach to customer satisfaction
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working within government is desired

What you'll get in return
On offer to you is a full time role with a reputable Parramatta-based government department. You would be offered a pay rate of $30.75 per hour + super and would be rostered between 7am and 7pm Monday – Friday for 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week. The role will be based in the Parramatta office in a vibrant and supportive team.
