Hays have exclusively partnered with an Engineering and Design organisation, providing innovative solutions to complex structural engineering assets - with products and services aligned to Road Safety and Crash Barrier Technology as well as Asset Management and Maintenance Software and services used in the Structural Engineering industry
This privately owned organisation has been around for over 50 years, having grown their presence through acquisitions. They are looking to expand their Sales footprint across NSW, bringing on board a technical Sales professional to develop their asset management software suite, assisting them in their aggressive growth plans.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be the commercial face of the organisation, developing strong relationships with local councils, . You will leverage off your technical background, providing consultative support to your customer base across Local Councils and State Departments of Transport - targeting Asset Maintenance Managers, Site Engineers, Designers and Contractors on Civil and Infrastructure projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bridge, Structural or Civil Engineering background desired
- Technical sales acumen, targeting large projects with long sales lifecycles
- Experience selling into Local Councils and State Departments of Transport who oversee infrastructure projects in Roads, Highways, Trains and Waterways
- Strong business development skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
