Building Facilities Coordinator

Client Side Government Building Facilities Coordinator, CBD Site, Professional Environment, August Start

Your new company
A specialist Government Organisation dedicated to the Victorian community, now requires an experienced and immediately available Building Facilities Coordinator to join the team on an initial 3 month basis with the opportunity for extension and applying for permanency. You will be responsible for procuring and managing trades and contractors, maintaining operations at 3x venues (main building in CBD), and ensuring the day to day building coordination and facilities management for smooth operation.

Your new role
In your new position, you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring, supervising and managing facilities and building coordination functions across one main CBD site and another 2x suburban sites
  • Coordinating and supervising contractors and inducting them in on site
  • Assist with emergency management planning and security
  • Procurement of office supplies
  • Working collaboratively with Project Managers and other areas of the organisation

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will require:
  • Experience in Building Management, Property, Facilities Management
  • Public sector experience is desirable
  • Contract Management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational and problem solving skills
