Your New Company:
This locally owned and operated company is committed to training and further educating Internal and External staff and keep them up to date within the Building Industry. They have successfully completed a wide range of homes from Client supplied plans and unique blocks. The company is seeking an experienced, proactive and customer focused Building Administrator to join their local office due to a busy growth phase.
Your New Role:
As the successful Building Administrator, you will be working alongside the on-site Supervisors and be responsible for providing key administrative support to stakeholders, both internally and externally. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting Site Supervisor with variations and purchase orders
- Review construction documentation to gain a full understanding of the original project scope & make recommendation of rectification solutions.
- Ordering Developer Application
- Oversee the activities and performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Identify construction hazards and risks to ensure efficiency and mitigate company exposure.
- Completing any ad-hoc administrative duties as required
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Previous Construction experience
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability in high quality supplier and subcontracted services coordination.
- Fantastic problem-solving skills and effective conflict resolution
- Excellent time management skills accompanied with a robust work-ethic
- Strong planning skills with precise attention to detail
