A hospitality organisation are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their Port Melbourne office.

Your new role
  • Managing the accounts payable & receivable function
  • Assisting with BAS preparation, Insurances, and Month End Reporting
  • Manage data, records and reports
  • Schedule, prepare, authorise and pay invoices
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information
  • Adhere to current accounting/finance laws, compliance & regulations
  • Other finance ad hoc duties as required

What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with above duties (AP & AR)
  • Experience using Xero system is desirable but not essential
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
  • Relevant TAFE or tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Have a “can do attitude”
