Your new role
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that manufacturing and fixed/ mobile asphalt plant complies with relevant safety standards
- Ensure equipment is mechanically sound for operational purposes and to allow the business to meet objectives
- Completing maintenance tasks relating to the asphalt plants
- Ensure compliance and safety maintained in all areas
- Ensure plant equipment is maintained to a high standard
- Complete daily pre-starts and plant inspections
- Monitoring plant equipment for any defects
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within this area will lead to your success, you will also possess:
- Trade Certified Fitter or Boiler Maker
- Previous Maintenance fitter experience in a fixed plant environment
- Strong welding and fabrication skills and knowledge
- Experience replacing motors and bearings (desired)
- Strong commitment to all areas of safety
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Enjoy developing and maintaining strong working relationships
