Your new role

• Prepare and write high quality credit submissions for both new loans and rollovers
• Complete all post-approval matters to take loans through to settlement/fulfilment
• Monitoring of existing loans including dealing to any mid-term requests
• Engage and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders including originators, brokers, borrowers, valuers and solicitors
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Support the Chief Risk Officer and wider team as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Sound commercial credit assessment background, ideally including experience dealing with commercial property loans in either a bank or non-bank environment
• Core competency in understanding and analysis of financial statements
• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Good verbal and communication skills, particularly in relation to problem solving more complex credits.
• A positive and proactive approach to closing lending solutions which sustain business growth, whilst ensuring the application of the company’s risk and credit processes.
• Proven track record of being able to manage a high case load associated with a transactional lending pipeline (ie. managing multiple transactions at different stages)
