Your new role
The primary role of the Assistant Accountant will be to work with the Financial Controller in providing financial services to the core business and all associated entities. This is a fast paced, high volume role that requires attention to detail coupled with a can do attitude. Please see the core components of this role below:
What you'll need to succeed
- Payroll data entry. Not full function.
- Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger Reconciliations
- Month End Management for Multiple Entities
- Journal Entries
- Financial Accounting
- Regulatory and Statutory Compliance
- Financial Administration
- Ad Hoc duties as directed by the Senior Accountant.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivables
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in a similar position in a small to medium sized organization. You will be driven, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and conceptual and analytical thinking. Additionally, you will have strong computer literacy, organisational and prioritisation skills.
