Asset Inspection Officer

An Asset Inspection Officer job in Melbourne paying circa $45.00 - $50.00 per hour for a local council.

A local council situated in the inner CBD area has a temporary opportunity for an Asset Inspection Officer.

Your new role
The duties will involve:

  • Carrying out on field asset inspections for park and road related assets
  • Assisting with customer requests relating to road, footpath, drainage, and furniture maintenance work
  • Assisting with scoping works for our civil infrastructure maintenance contractors

What you'll need to succeed
As well as experience leading asset inspections in a complex organisation, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualification in asset management, asset planning or engineering
  • Demonstrated success in identifying strategies that meet community expectations and best practice
  • Understanding of the maintenance of civil infrastructure and condition assessment of Council assets
