This opportunity is available to join a reputable State Government Department on a full time temporary contract until November, 2022 (with potential for extension). Our client is looking for experienced Customer Service Officers to come in and hit the ground running assisting in rolling out a scheme designed to help people experiencing financial crisis.
Your new role
Within your new role as Assessment Officer / Customer Service Agent your duties will include:
- Providing high-level customer service daily to the high volume of customers communicating via phone and email
- Providing clear, correct and timely information whilst following up with emails and data entry to ensure all matters are resolved quickly
- Assessing customers' eligibility and applications for potential assistance
- Working with third parties to assist customers, as the first point of contact for internal and external customers through effective and timely communication and reports
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you should have:
- Previous experience working within a contact centre
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- You must be a confident multi-tasker and have a committed approach to customer satisfaction
- A desire to assist people in crisis and experience assessing applications are both desirable
Please note this contract is currently looking to start ASAP so you must be available at short notice.
What you'll get in return
On offer to you is a pay-rate of $30-36 per hour + super. In return you will receive excellent working hours Monday to Friday working 7.5 hours a day during normal business hours between 9am – 5pm. You will be joining a vibrant, supportive and friendly team environment on a temporary contract currently estimated until November 2022. This role is 100% office-based in their Parramatta office.
