Your new company
This position will be located within a Federal Government Department that is responsible for the regulation and protection of Australia's critical infrastructure including cyber and supply chain. This section’s work involves developing a new compliance framework following recent legislative reforms, engaging with stakeholders to inform them of their legislative obligations and answer common queries, undertaking compliance activities, and using and enhancing the current ICT systems that support the previous functions.
Your new role
You will be engaged to work in a small team to develop a new compliance framework which include:
- Developing a compliance engagement strategy
- Stakeholder liaison
- Development of compliance guidance materials
- Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Supporting systems development
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these positions you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience developing and reviewing compliance frameworks, ideally within a Federal Government setting
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to undertake systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions, based on evidence.
- Demonstrated writing skills of a high order, with the ability to tailor messages to suit diverse audiences and translate complex data results into plain language.
- Demonstrated ability to work with legislation and legislative frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, to deliver outcomes against competing priorities and deadlines.
You must be an Australian Citizen, and hold or be able to obtain a minimum Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance.
