Application Support Team Manager

Leading Victorian Government organisation is looking for its next Team Manager to lead the Application Support team in maintaining the applications of this important public service.

Your new role
Within this rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead a team accountable for 2nd and 3rd level support and maintenance of all applications this includes managing, measuring and monitoring the performance and availability of all applications under the Application Services Delivery team via the incident, change, request and problem management processes.
  • Proactively monitor application performance, use and data compliance; define applications monitoring and alerting requirements; review of application regression testing
  • Delivery to schedule, budget and scope of assigned works/tasks
  • Provide functional and technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the 24x7 On-Call roster for the Application Services Delivery team
  • Embed a customer service culture building and maintaining an effective manager-employee relationship

What you'll need to succeed
Along with management experience, you will have:
  • Experience with key ITIL disciplines including Incident, Request Fulfilment, Problem, Change and Release Management
  • Advanced systems analysis, design and architecture skills
  • Experience in managing a DevOps environment and Agile delivery methods
  • Experience in managing and directing the support, maintenance and implementation of complex and business critical applications
  • Manage and schedule resources to meet the BAU, project and enhancement workload demands
