Administrative Services Coordinator

South Australian business located on the Eyre Peninsular looking for experienced admin coordinator of the site

This well-known not-for-profit aged-care facility is a proud South Australian business that promotes a supportive culture and is located in Port Lincoln on the Eyre Peninsular. The Administrative Services Coordinator is a senior member of the Administrative Services team and reports to the Residential Services Manager.

Your new role
The position works closely with the Site Management team which includes the Residential Services Manager, Care Services Manager, and senior clinicians. Responsibilities include:
  • Effective supervision, management, and coordination of the site Administration team
  • Assist with the coordination of quality control and adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Assist with the coordination of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate the Admission and Departure process at site level
In addition, the Administrative Services Coordinator is required to foster professional and effective working relationships with a range of key stakeholders, including residents and their family members, corporate staff, clinical staff, and allied health professionals.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated:
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers with respect, courtesy, and sensitivity – resolving conflict, establishing expectation, providing timely responses, and keeping them informed of progress
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload and use a range of computer-based tools and systems to action tasks and achieve high quality outcomes
  • Strong planning, administrative and organisational skills
