This organisation is a reputable specialist insurance company that has been operating and supporting Australians for over 55 years. The organisation is looking to hire an Entry level Accounts Receivable Officer, as they hope to support and facilitate your entry into the market.
Your new role
The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for the accurate receipting of payments and follow up queries, whilst managing collections and following up of outstanding payments.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Receipting and reconciliation of payments
- Being part of a supportive team where you will have training in managing collections and following up outstanding payments
- Deliver professional and efficient customer service to brokers and distribution partners
- Contribute to developing a workplace learning environment
- Contribute to the alignment of risk and compliance management practices
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Relevant Accounting and Finance degree/certificate/diploma
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Experience with AP/ AR desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiating, and time-management skills
- Australian citizen or Permanent resident
