Accounts Receivable Officer

Large Trades Supplier requires an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team in Botany.

An industry leader in kitchen and bathroom supplies requires an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team in Botany.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:
  • Collection of overdue payments
  • Making customer calls and negotiating payments
  • Receipting and allocations
  • Reconciliations
  • Major Account management
  • Rebates and Credit notes
  • New Credit Applications
  • Foreign Currency payment calculations
  • Sending out invoices
  • Assist with Accounts Payable overflow


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable in a medium sized business managing major accounts would be ideal
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of credit procedures and legislation
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with major accounts
  • Strong Excel skills and ideally experience using a large ERP
