Accountant

A temporary Accountant position looking to start immediately, for an estimated 6 months period
Your new company
Located in the Northern suburbs our well known client requires a temporary Accountant in for an estimated 6 months period. This assignment is looking to start ASAP.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Preparing monthly reports
  • BAS calculations and reconciliations
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Assisting with costing, income tax, month-end accounting and inventory.
  • Systems and process improvement.
  • Liaising with various internal staff members
  • Ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
  • Working hours 9am to 5pm.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated relevant accounting, costing and reporting experience
  • CA/CPA or equivalent full accounting qualification
  • Advanced Excel and systems literacy
  • PowerBI experience would be highly advantageous
  • Available to start within the next week and commit to the 6 months casual assignment
