Hays has partnered with an Australian-owned market leader who is now seeking an Accountant to join their growing team.

Your new role
In your new role as the Accountant you will ben applying application your proven technical statutory reporting and compliance skills in providing useable insights to support strategic business decisions which is to a high quality and adds value to the business.

Some of your core duties would include:

• Perform monthly review system of overseas business units to ensure its completeness, integrity, and reasonableness
• Working closely with local finance team and external consultants in managing the local audit and tax compliance of overseas business unit to ensure timely successful completion statutory compliance requirement
• Support the ad-hoc technical research and support the new standards adoption, tax laws/development and implementation of new IFRS across business in differences regions
• Support the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting process of the international business, including in-depth financial/business analysis for stakeholders
• Assists and support the group wide best practice reporting, systems, policies, processes, and controls throughout the Region

What you'll need to succeed
As the Accountant, you will need to bring a skillset which will allow you to perform your duties to a high standard. Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years’ audit experience
• High degree of technical and analytical competence, including proficiency in MS Excel
• Meticulous and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple reporting deadlines
• Good written and spoken Korean language skills
