Sales Support and Customer Service Manager

You will provide the day-to-day leadership to the Sales Support team to ensure exceptional customer service

Your new role

This role will provide the day-to-day leadership and support to the Oceania Sales Support team to ensure exceptional customer service and delivery. It is customer facing and demands the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. The role will also support Sales and Account Managers in generating new and maintaining existing customers.

Key Duties:
  • Provide support in all customer service-related matters.
  • Deliver industry leading customer service
  • Engage and lead WW Oceania Sales Support team
  • Provide guidance and support on all import and export Sales Support activities for WW Ocean
  • Support the achievement of regional strategies, business plans and performance targets
  • Provide sales support to Account Managers/Liner Sales team as required
  • Continuously search for efficiencies, continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Terminal, Port Operations and Trade departments

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree or Certificate in Logistics or Transport is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong leadership, and motivational skills and proven experience in leading a team
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping and maritime law and experience in working in an international organisation
  • Excellent Customer Service, multi-tasking skills, and ability to deal with demanding customers
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, find solutions for customers and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
