Trade Marketing Manager

Exciting newly created role for a Trade Marketing Manager with a global retailer.
Your new role

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Australia & New Zealand marketing plan across retail and wholesale channels from conception, creation and follow up of the execution of all campaign elements, to campaign results and sales analysis, as well as Visual Merchandising.

Key objectives include:

  • Promotional strategy, Trade marketing plan conception and execution for Full Price Stores, Outlets and Wholesale.
  • Develop, along with the Head of Marketing, and implement marketing campaigns in a timely and effective manner for all channels.
  • Define the type of signage (POS, posters, tent cards) and the various print materials (leaflet, flyers) that need to be created for each campaign.
  • Liaise with the Head of Retail to create and implement local area marketing activations with a pro-active strategy to support all retail stores.
  • Forecast products per promotional offer across all channels and provide to Head of Marketing and Supply Chain.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing with pricing strategy and define prices for promotional items for all channels, across Retail and Wholesale.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to define and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in managing relationships with internal stakeholders (finance and operations, retail team, wholesale team, boutique members).
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: overcomes obstacles to source the right solution to complex business problems.
  • Analytical skills: able to analyse large volume of data and translate into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivation: creates positive environment and encourages feedback on performance.
  • Communication: facilitates open dialogue across company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suit.
