Recruitment Specialist wanted for Government Department Business Unit – Immediate Start
Hays Human Resources are currently working with a government department who require HR Recruitment Specialist services to support the implementation of a organisational realignment.

This includes a recruitment and selection process for 15-20 positions. Reporting to the Principal Project Officer, you will be providing recruitment support to the team including but not limited to:

  • executive search for SO and some AO8’s
  • support in development and establishment or review of role descriptions and facilitate completion of the Job Analysis Questionnaire for new or changed roles, in consultation with the relevant manager.
  • assist with shortlisting for some new roles (up to 15)
  • project manage all recruitment activities including coordinating interviews and attending all interviews as scribe, arranging and preparing for interviews, performing scribe duties during interviews, undertaking referee checks and preparing selection reports
  • provide advice to managers about best practice recruitment selection options
  • provide advice, support and assistance to managers and employees in the application of human resource policies, industrial award instruments, systems, and processes.

Within the context of the responsibilities described above, you will have the ability to demonstrate the following experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience in all aspects of recruitment and its processes
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and confidently with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work under direction to meet objectives within tight timeframes and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop high quality corporate documents and reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
