Facilities and Events Team Leader

Your new role
• Lead and manage staff members including professional development and roster management
• Coordinate the day to day operations of the function rooms and onsite cafe to ensure it is up to standards
• Assist with the organisation and servicing of client and staff events
• Responsible for all aspects of food services function, including regulatory compliance requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and clients
• Work closely with catering vendors to ensure transparency between front and back of house
• Manage work orders, invoices and liaise with suppliers.
• Manage customer expectations and maintaining high customer service levels
• Identify improvement opportunities for functions and catering management
• Develop and maintain policies and guidelines as required to meet operational requirements

What you'll need to succeed
• A proven background in a management role within the hospitality industry
• Highly effective communication skills
• Excellent people management skills
• An ability to systemise, implement and enforce procedures
• Displays a passion for superior customer service and an attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• An ability to remain focused and proactive at all times

To be successful in your application for this role you will need to hold a current driver’s license and required to be available at short notice, be reliable, and have a bright and friendly personality combined with a desire to work.
