Organisational Development and Talent Manager

Organisational Development and Talent Manager fixed term opportunity working for a government department.

Your new company
This large state government department has created a new position as an Organisational Development and Talent manager. The role will be a long term fixed contract and will be based in Melbourne CBD. This role will work closely with multiple arms of the HR business as well as senior executives and stakeholders.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services you will be responsible for implementing the workforce plan, designing the organisational development programs and driving the talent strategy.
  • Oversee functional design, job design and people resource practices.
  • Work with senior leaders and stakeholders to build a pipeline of quality talent and uplift capability.
  • Create and implement clear frameworks and tools for change management. Ensure the use of these tools across the business.
  • Effectively lead and influence senior managers throughout leadership. Align workforce plan with overall organisation strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have managed previous OD programs and have a track record and skill-set in workforce planning, succession planning, people engagement and talent management.
  • Successful completion of HR related degree
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Previous experience in OD related certifications.
