Our client is a leader in their field and are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Located on the northern Gold Coast, this is a great opportunity to work for a growing organisation.

Duties:
- Have a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
- Complete and file BAS, IAS and other ATO requirements as needed
- Month end procedures including reconciling accounts, processing accruals and reporting.
- Drive the month end process to ensure that information is accurate and timely.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to Accounts Payable / Assistant Accountant and to other finance team members.
- Liaise with various stakeholders
- Compare actuals to budget at a centre level on a monthly basis
- Assist in the annual budget process
- Suggest improvements to enhance processes and procedures

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in accounting
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
