A State Government Department looking for an experienced accountant to join their finance team.
Your new role
Provide a full range of executive administration and support services to the Director Financial Strategy and coordinate a range of financial business activities for the Financial Strategy Branch.
• Provide executive support to the Director and nominated staff including diary management and associated activities, drafting correspondence and preparing reports, minutes, general correspondence and Ministerial responses
• Manage incoming enquiries and track correspondence through the internal and corporate records management systems and maintain related database and records systems
• Coordinate the Financial Management Directorate’s contribution to the year-end process and Annual Report
• Support the budgeting process by updating internal and external reporting systems and maintaining budget related working papers (spreadsheets and documents), Treasury and the Executive Leadership Team
• Assist with the Branch’s reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders, by undertaking research and analysis, coordinating information, distributing and electronically filing of the reports
• Provide support in the development and implementation of projects and contribute to strategic business and operational plans
Must have:
SAP experience
Accounting degree/ CPA
What you'll get in return
3 months contract.
Hybrid opportunity. Office located in Greenacre.
Pay rate: $60-$70ph plus super.
